Have you ever wondered where to locate an obscure video or do you need to know some book titles in an area where your collection is lacking?

The library catalogues of the following organizations are now available for HLABC members to search in one step. Each of these libraries has specific loan policies, so please check them out before requesting items. The catalogues can also be searched individually by clicking on the link to the individual organization.

If you are searching more than one catalogue, you will see the number of search results below the library names. You can then see the results by clicking on each of the View Results links. The results are then displayed within the catalogue's website template.

Andornot Consulting Inc. is providing this service to HLABC members as a demonstration of how their OneSearch add-on product operates. Normally it would not be possible to provide a search across all of these Inmagic databases without creating a union catalogue, and that would require a deal of coordination, regular maintenance, and extra costs. OneSearch provides a single search point without having to amalgamate catalogue data or structure. The participating health libraries do not have to do anything extra at all - the fact that the catalogues are publicly available is enough.
